To say an intake makes no power or looses power on a dyno means nothing in the real world as the flow of air and the ram effect isn't present, as well as the fact that they also may not have the intake ducts fitted to increase air flow to the filter. It is there to increase the airs charging efficiency and to give torque and Horsepower gains at high speeds and in the high rpms (like what i said about the intake frequencies as well). Honda tuning is a weird scene and everyone has their own style so to speak. Its not the prettiest thing but it works.
